It's probably been a year, but I updated the pics on the adult HP page of my website. Woo hoo!

Speaking of, a kind friend recently read Fling Wide the Whirlwind and suggested that even if it's on the side, I should give strong consideration to writing smut, even if a PhD has more clout and might make more money- no guarantee there, of course. Anyone second this? Has anyone on my flist actually had smut published, whether Ellora's Cave or actual paperbacks in real life? Any leads??

And lastly, I haven't been posting them here, but I've become a drabbler and have been posting at least one drabble a week to rondracodrabble. In other writing news: am about halfway through another R/D in the Magic Immunity series, but set before The Ties that Bind and from Draco's POV; a first, there. Two Gimlifics are simmering, hopefully to be written soon. I have some housesitting gigs coming up, which helps, as I can write for hours without feeling guilty.

I think that these past few days being a primary assistant caregiver to my grandfather have really rubbed off on me. I wrote this yesterday while watching him do his workout with a personal trainer he has at a nearby healthcare facility.

Not sure that it even warrants a title.

Length: Short (just under 800 words)
Pairing: Ron/Draco, set vaguely after "The Ties that Bind" and the Snape in this doesn't quite jive with the way I have him in that series, but there you go.
Summary: Snape was hit by something that has left him physically incapacitated, but mentally as all there as he ever was, and he's been taken in by Ron and Draco.

This is somewhat spurred on by fungus_files, who wanted to make sure that I was around. I've been quiet on LJ because I haven't had much of worth to say (though I am looking forward both to Hypericon and the Assrune Moot! WOO!!) and I've been doing other stuff; mostly writing of all kinds: letters and fic. T., wrote you again this morning- your Mum is going to wonder what on earth has happened when you keep getting letters from me. :P And snottygrrl, your lil package went out yesterday. I've been emailing with euclase and llembas (though I definitely owe you one back) about the Moot, working on a CD compilation of my own, and I mowed the lawn. Not necessarily in that order.

So- now I'm at work, listening to John's CD compilation, doing data entry which is pretty much all I do in the summer, but hey- it's air conditioned and 4 days a week through July. So, more on the Ron/Draco WiP titled "The Ties that Bind." The first part is here in case you're interested, though it's gone through a bunch of changes since I posted it. Me, I hate WsIP. But aside from the really dark R/S I wrote last weekend, this is what I've been working on, and I'm having waaaaay too much fun with it and cross-referencing other stories as well as regular life. And adult manga. LOL. So here's the whole thing as it stands currently. Oh, and it's adult, too. Be warned of smut. ;)
