updates and sundry- fanfic stuff

It's probably been a year, but I updated the pics on the adult HP page of my website. Woo hoo!

Speaking of, a kind friend recently read Fling Wide the Whirlwind and suggested that even if it's on the side, I should give strong consideration to writing smut, even if a PhD has more clout and might make more money- no guarantee there, of course. Anyone second this? Has anyone on my flist actually had smut published, whether Ellora's Cave or actual paperbacks in real life? Any leads??

And lastly, I haven't been posting them here, but I've become a drabbler and have been posting at least one drabble a week to rondracodrabble. If you'd like to read them, you can go to the memories and find mine pretty easily. The comm has been active not quite two months. I'll post the most recent one below as it amuses me.

"Really, Ron— it's kind of funny."

Ron's pacing stopped abruptly. "Funny?! Being caught shagging? In the shower?" His face was the colour of beetroot; Draco hoped he was still breathing.

"Xavier knows about men's anatomy. He knows what you and I do."

"He didn't need a fucking demonstration," Ron growled.

Draco tried desperately not to smile at the accidental double entendre. An undignified coughing snort exploded out of him, regardless.

"NOT FUNNY!!" Ron roared.

"Well, Xavier will probably think twice before he takes any more of George's dares."


In other writing news: am about halfway through another R/D in the Magic Immunity series, but set before The Ties that Bind and from Draco's POV; a first, there. Two Gimlifics are simmering, hopefully to be written soon. I have some housesitting gigs coming up, which helps, as I can write for hours without feeling guilty.

The new R/D is done and posted! In fact, it's a public post, if you can believe that, lol. BTW, I'm partway through a veritable tome of an email reply to you. :D
