Ron/Draco manga pic

This is a gift for all of the Ron/Draco people on my flist: I'd mentioned over in sexyscholar's LJ that I'd found a gorgeous picture that looked like Ron/Draco to me. At long last, I've scanned said picture and will soon be making an icon out of it. In the meantime, here's the picture! It's from a manga called "Lies and Kisses" by Masara Minase. In the manga itself, they don't have red and blond hair, but in this one beautiful picture inside the front cover, they seem to be.

Aren't they beautiful?! All I'd need to do is add a smattering of freckles and it'd *really* be a bit more like canon!Ron. But still; with some freckles, these two make me think of how I imagine them in Magic Immunity.

Mostly, the picture is gorgeous, and I wanted to share. Glad to inspire your morning! It's the least I can do to thank you for your exquisite Ron/Draco drabbles. :D

The loosely hung tie is killing me most of all. Once I break out of my current Fruits Basket manga stupor, I'm going to try to find this.

Doesn't it?! And the open shirt on Draco the other one… with the tie, it really makes me think of MI, Healer Ron. I'll have to incorporate a tie in the next story in the series. I've thought of him in Healer robes, but honestly, I can see him having to wear a shirt and tie underneath. Just... guh.

Now IF Draco really did look like that in my head then there would be a chance, only a chance mind, that the idea of R/D wouldn't be so awful after all. I have to say thought, the thing about the picture, when looked at as R+D that I really like is that their usual personalities seem reversed ie. in the pic, Ron looks rather seriously, and hotly devious, Draco looks kind of cute and a little naive, a bit like some guys I know looked like for the first few months of their first gay relationship: kinda embarassed by how much they were enjoying themselves! Sweet...

It is rather an inverse of how their personalities are often projected, and in that sense, it doesn't often fit how I see those two in my stories. But it's gorgeous, nonetheless. And now I'm going to need to incorporate a loosely-hung tie in the next Magic Immunity fic, or drabble... :licks lips:

Isn't it lovely?! Perhaps not really R/D, but I thought the coloring was beautiful and it reminded me of them in some sort of alternate universe. :)
