This one's for llembas. Began it months ago, it was abandoned, and then was finished up today. Do enjoy, though it does have a high angst content. It makes me cry, and I'm the author. It's R/S, in case you're wondering.
<--- hopeless
(off to go write hot, non-angsty smut for Romanticalgirl and Licia_North)
To hear this from you is the most wondrous thing. Thank you.
I liked the bit set in Halifax a lot-- "Tainted Love" works frighteningly well for Remus.
Yes, it does, both in the time period and the text. I just hate to have inflicted it on him, but JKR did it first, so...
There are lots of gorgeous descriptions and evocative phrases, of course (that seems to be one of the hallmarks of your writing).
You have now completely made my weekend. From someone whose writing I adore so much, to hear that, is bliss. I'm working on my ability to write dialogue, I swear, but per my other writing friends, perhaps it is the interweaving of description and action that is my hallmark. I'll certainly be thrilled with 'gorgeous descriptions and evocative phrases,' never fear. I can't wait to finish the twinfic for you to read! And there's my George/Remus story, "Cartography of Fire." Probably not a pairing you're interested in, but post OotP, it seems to work. Not to mention its sequel, which I'm writing now.

Thanks for this lovely story.
Thank you for reading it, and making comments.
