I know I'm not a natural redhead, but I've been a redhead for 2/3 of my adult life, so I feel that I almost qualify. I don't know that I've ever embedded a youtube video, but there's a first for everything. Below is a rather irreverent short history of redheads. And the redheaded festival in the Netherlands that she mentions? I have a bookmark to pictures from that. What? Me, obsessed?

Okay- last post of the weekend, then I'll go away. I made a recent post over at redheadedmales and while looking for something else online (I really don't remember what, now!) I found this gorgeous set of photos from a Redhead Day in the Netherlands in September of 2008. The link to the vivid, scrumptuous photos are here on Flickr by a photographer named Omroep Brabant. If you know me at all, you know I've had a thing for redheads of both genders since I was a child. If you do, too, you'll love these.
