Well,
geoviki tapped me for my top 6 current favorite songs. Hmmmm. Seeing as how my musical tastes are highly influenced by people like
llembas and
euclase and their incredible mixes, pretty much their songs are the ones that I have on repeat.
Current faves:
1) John, I Love You- by Sinead O'Connor. Jen put it on an Irish mix, and I just adore it. Play it again and again and again I think I even hear it when I'm sleeping.
2) Nightswimming- by REM. Another one from Jen, on her "At Swim, Two Boys" 'soundtrack.' It's just fabulous.
3) Bring on the Night- by The Police. It's been a fave since I was in high school. I think almost every mixed tape I've ever made has it on it. I've always resonated to the lyrics.
4) Karma Slave- by Splashdown. On the "Twilight" soundtrack from licia. What a cool concept, lyrics-wise, and the beat is most excellent.
5) It's Been A While- by Staind.
eldritchhobbit showed me a R/S songvid with that song and I've been hooked ever since. Unfortunately, I tend to relate to the lyrics a little too much. :P
6) This Is Where I Came In- the Bee Gees version. Again, from Amy, on her R/S soundtrack, and I love it. I really can't write R/S without thinking of that song.
So... there you have it! I would tap people, but you all are the ones who have given me the music that I listen to, so that wouldn't be much fun.

Date: 2005-06-04 07:49 pm (UTC)...I always told myself
I would regret this day
When I would fall apart
And watch you walk away
(And cry)
And you would cry out loud
And I would stand aside...
:):):) I am SO thrilled you love it too. *hugs*
