Idle thoughts on clothes & music

I was just ironing a new shirt and realized that I couldn’t properly iron one of the sleeves because the fabric was twisted. If I had made the shirt, I’d take out the sleeve, straighten it, and put the sucker back in. That’s terrible workmanship! I’m so glad I got it for half price, because if I’d spent $50 on a shirt (which, granted, is a really cool one) with a wonky sleeve, I’d feel not so clever. Then again, I could probaby count on one hand the number of clothing items I’ve ever purchased voluntarily (thereby excluding all bridesmaid’s dresses) that cost more than $50.
Random Halloween Thought: I think I’m going to be Bill Weasley for Halloween. Does anybody know whether there is any other description of him besides the two sentences in GoF, or am I free to self-interpret? I don’t have Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone at home and don’t know if it specifies that *all* Weasleys are covered in freckles or if it’s just the twins and Ron. Time to consult the HP lexicon. I want to lose about 10 pounds and go to Goodwill to get faux leather pants, something to pass for dragonhide boots and jacket, and investigate the fang earring concept. I mean, I can’t go as George Weasley unless I cut my hair, otherwise I would. But I can find a plain pullover and over-embroider a big “B” in the middle for the obligatory Molly-knitted jumper, and- explain myself over and over again at our Halloween party, as I don’t think anyone will know who I am. I could wear my Eowyn costume again as one of my fellow costumers in the Lomelindi pointed out that many of them (whom I’ll invite, of course) haven’t seen it. However, I keep holding out hope/expectation that they’ll re-release the extended versions of LotR and TTT on the big screen when the extended RotK comes out and I can wear my costume to see TTT again. Since I’ve quit visiting TORn and don’t keep up with the Ringers, does anyone else know if such a thing might be happening? Those films have certainly been cash cows for the theaters every time they show them.
Random Music Thank-Yous:
To Jen, Amy, Licia, and Julia. Your mixed CDs and wonderful music you've sent to me over the past couple of years are simply glorious. It's what I listen to most of the time. Thank you, thank you.
