Tarot for today

thrihyrneI haven't done a reading for ages, but it called to me so I did one for myself this morning. My primary focus was, "Where am I now, within myself?" and also an overarching question about work, present and future.
I almost always do a Four Airts Spread, for the four compass positions and an overarching message.
North (Personal destiny; powerful forces acting from outside): Island of Apples
East (Forces in a state of becoming and change; realm of thought): The Weaving Sisters
South (Willpower and outward activities; active, directed energies): The Hawk of May
West (emotions and feelings; passive influences; things now receding): The Increaser of Secrets
Center (keynote or essence of the reading): The Daughter of Bones
This all sounds accurate and not nearly as troubling as it might. My past actions are influencing where I am now but I will be more self-actualized and have more insight as a result of all of this. Perhaps ironically FedEx just came by with a paper copy of the letter of pre-adverse conditions and my background check information. Nice of Airbnb to send it to me in paper copy, I suppose. But this is going to be a great day: the weather is perfect Kristi weather (56° and gorgeous grey skies), I'm now going to knit and have some breakfast, and then I'll go spend the afternoon with Evan and there may even be an IKEA trip included!

- Use intuition rather than logic; new vitality and personal liberation; flexibility to adapt successfully to changes

- Struggling against difficult conditions; period of breaking down and dissolution
Center (keynote or essence of the reading): The Daughter of Bones
- Old way of life is breaking down; harsh realities of life are becoming obvious; will get deep new insights into life by coming through these difficult experiences
