I'm about to do my first ever knitting design, as in, not just putting a pattern on a shape (like a vest), but modifying a cable pattern in order to make something new. I'm going to obsessively write down what I'm doing and see how it turns out. Note to self: get a hold of some graph paper. I have a sneaking suspicion that evannichols may be just the person to have some on hand, which will be most helpful.
