Knitting update

So for those following the thistle cardigan saga, in recent days I've cut up the front, cast on and knit the neckband, and am now knitting a front button band— for the second and a half time. I didn't think it looked right and so I consulted with my mom to get her aesthetic and knitterly opinion. We agree that the front bands should be solid, one in one colorway and one in another. Plus I needed to have picked up probably half as many again stitches as I did the first time.

But I'm getting ever closer! So here's another pic:




Once I get the tail of the sugar-glider covered with 'fur' I'll post an updated picture of it.

The sweater is gorgeous--even more so in person! You'll have to model the finished product for us.

This weekend was the second time we've gotten together and forgot to take pictures! There's always next time! It was so good to have you visit!!

Thanks so much! If I lived closer to the state fair I would definitely enter it, as I used to back in Tennessee. As it is, I'll just share with you all and my Ravelry buddies. :)
