Back from the boondocks

I know that some of you have been quite worried- I ended up spending over 7 days with my adopted brother and his girlfriend at her home in the mountains. Quite beautiful, and quite far away from any internet access whatsoever. The week had its ups and downs and I'll post more about that (to a degree) on a filter, but I just didn't want people to think something horrible had happened. I'm back at home and at work at both jobs and will have a very busy week, so it may yet be a couple of days before there are any substantive posts.

I was one of those wondering how you were. You did not miss a lot in the internet world. A lot of New Year's greetings. But you have plenty of time to catch up with those. They will not be going anywhere.

Well, I missed the postings for 2 of the 3 exchanges in which I participated and I still haven't had a chance to read the gifts for me, much less reply to the ones that I wrote! I feel like a cad, but I had a 12 1/2 hour day today and I'm exhausted. :P

Oneo of them is mine (Yuletide), but it is very small. Don't worry on my account. It was not my magnum opus of the decade or anything like that. I barfely made it under the wire. I did like how it turned out however.

I didn't start the wondering until Jan 2nd. So okay, there was a moment of panicking, but then I figured you had maybe just been too busy.
