Today's adventures

While persephone100 was here in my wee burg, today we:
~ had coffee
~ went to look for manga and found it at my friend Downtown Bob's Bookstore
~ retrieved my sweater that's been on display at our Local Yarn Store since early September
~ rollerskated for two hours
~ played two intense games of Scrabble
~ ate pasta
~ went to the University theater showing of Inception

Now, my friend emansil_08 had recommended Inception to me since I have such a vivid dreamlife, and I must say, I came out of it not confused at all. Dream levels? Check. Who's where? Check. The primary m/m ship? "Darling?" Check.

Loved it. We're going to sleep in now and I'll try and make a fattening breakfast, because my dear one is underfed. :P We may go to see caves tomorrow; still undecided. I do have a Panera dinner event at 7 o'clock, but we'll work around that. And there will be pictures to post.

Also, a huge thanks to liriaen for the postcard. I've been wanting to write you a proper letter for yonks. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. :hugs:

i am so with you on this. evannichols had been given a chart that we were supposed to look at after we watched the movie so we'd understand and we were both bewildered as to why we'd need it. obviously some brains totes get everything and others don't, cause plenty of my wonderful and talented and smart friends needed an explanation after. [*shrugs*]

Yes, I can see that some brains would get it and some wouldn't. I quite enjoyed the movie, regardless. And the theater was packed; don't know if it's always like that or just because it was a Saturday night on campus.

And I will get back to you about the daemon thing; just had a busy weekend. :)

Ah haha, told you so: the primary Inception ship isn't that difficult, is it. :)

I also don't think the movie is that confusing; maybe it's a bit hard to follow if you're mopping up all the saliva you're leaking as soon as Mr Gordon-Levitt appears in one of his immaculate suits. ♥

Fifteen years??! Yes, that may well be a record! And fie on your cat for eating through the yarn. My dog nearly messed up that striped cardigan I made not long ago, and I was livid with her.
