No NaNoWriMo but…

… I've decided to try picowrimo. In chatting with evannichols and snottygrrl during my whirlwind Portland trip and original fic and m/m stuff, while I am continuing to work on my original novel, I think it could be good for me to revisit another original story that's a bit more lighthearted and I could plan to write 10,000 words on it in November. That seems totally reasonable to me. So here's my first ever little wordmeter! I'm not starting out from scratch since I started on this back in winter of '08, but I've not worked on it since then.



So for those who are on my Ilthanon filter, I'll hopefully still be posting, but I may take a month off to write something totally different.

That sounds like a great plan. 10,000 words instead of 50,000. What original story were you working on?

It's called "Fang and Fury," a rather cracktastic tale of a paper-pushing werewolf and his flamboyant vampire lover on a planet pretty much ruled by its moons as most people are werewolves. Known as 'lunids'. It was my first attempt at world building and it's no great shakes, but I really like my protagonists. :)
