A Week in the Life, Day Six

Sorry that I'm posting days 6 and 7 together, but it was just such a pain to do stuff on the little laptop I took with me! Not much happened on day six; I never did leave the 'estate' to go into town, so no postcards or anything. :( But I did do something I almost never do: I attempted to take a nap! I didn't actually sleep, but I did rest and get some writing done.

Small waterfall behind the pool. It wasn't warm enough to my taste ever to get in the pool, but I did sit by it and knit for a while.

Canadian license plate for my sister in law's mother's car. She's a great cook as I think I noted before.

Normally it would have been, and I was able to get away and enjoy the quiet— just some heaping servings of awkward due to my relationship with my brother and his baby and my whole non-baby-centric self.
