A Week in the Life, Day One

Many folks on my flist have done this, and two of my Portland buddies, snottygrrl and evannichols are both participating, so I decided to join in. And I miss Portland tremendously these days.

There are Vast Rules™ that go along with this that I don't care about. I'm just going to post the pics with titles and if people have questions or want clarifications, please ask away! This won't be an average week in that I'm going out of town with my folks on Friday and we'll be in Toronto, Canada (well, Guelph to be precise) from Saturday-Monday with an all-day return drive on Tuesday.

She's my parents' dog, but she's adopted me as her Favorite Person. And yes, as a hound dog, she can really give looks that are incredibly hard to resist!

It's an older house, and that's definitely wallpaper! I took art in high school, but art really isn't my skill. :P

No, not saccharine at all. Rather like a well-meant order how to deal with stuff. Not even plain optimistic. It's more like, "fuck it. If it bothers you: change somthing yourself, and don't sit there waiting with hands folded in your lap." I like that. :)

I immediately thought of you and wondered how far away Guelph was. Amazing that your parents are there, though! It's not that big of a place, if memory server…

I only write longhand, and then my first edit happens when I type it in.
