Hello all! For any following this saga from the initial submission, to the overhaul, to the major revision, and at last the 7/10 rewrite, I sent a quick email to Storm just to see if there was still a timeline for this. And there is. But… it'll be a while. Here are her comments, FYI:

I think realistically it will be the new year when I get back to M&M. I've got a couple of books supposed to be out this month and I'm also trying to finish stories for the Wraeththu Mythos collection. I think it will be late spring/early summer for that release.

If I get time to start looking at M&M before Jan, I will do.

So! She's busy. Not surprising. Guess I'll really put that story off in the back recesses of my mind until I hear from her. It helps since I'm going to focus on things other than writing, though I do have a couple of longer fics in mind that I'd like to work on, unhurriedly, and with no deadline. One will be Wraeththu, and the other will be Tolkien. Not sure whether to revive a Numenorean fic begun several years ago, or whether to go the Dwarvish route. Too bad there weren't any Dwarves in Numenor, I could do both at once! ;)

It's probably best to just put M&M on the back burner of your brain, and not think about it until the spring. HA! easier said than done, right?

Good luck with the writing. I signed up for another exchange. It's fic for art. Luckily it's not due till march or something like that. I've got time. Plenty of time to annoy you about it. *g*

Actually, that's why I keep checking in with her! Now that I know it'll be a while, I really will put it completely out of my mind until she's ready to look at it and we can go through that process again.

I'll be able to send off my ficadron pinch hit tonight, then all that's left before next March is my Yuletide story. I have a lot going on chorally this weekend, but I think I'll take time between events to go off somewhere quiet and work on it. Annoy away with me, lol!!

BTW, I received your wonderful package of wee gifties! I put them all under the tree. :D :D :D Thank you!! The card it on the mantle.

Glad the package arrived. I couldn't decide on one thing, so you go lots of little things. hopefully some of it, you can put to good use.

You'll be glad to know the art/fic exchange is not HarryDraco. It's Albus/Scorpius, which is almost as bad; right? hehe!

Yes, it's not a swift process!! And ooh, shiny new icon, lol!! I really do like how that one turned out.
