Wow. I am literally going to have been up all night, quite despite attempts to sleep. Yay. And I have work and everything, which is from 3-8. Maybe I can get a nap after my morning appointment. Hopefully by tonight I'll be exhausted enough to resolve this sleep deprivation. But hey— I finished two of my exchange fics! They're both HP, one's fairly short and the other one is no novella. I haven't typed them in yet for word count. One is also R/D for [livejournal.com profile] ficadron, so I'm guessing that the R/D folks shouldn't beta? Then again, just because you've beta'ed it doesn't mean you'd necessarily vote for it. Any takers? New people to beta'ing for me are welcome and given a virtual Ron/Draco lunchbox. Others who have beta'ed in the past are also greatly appreciated and the Weasley twins will put on a special Whizbang fireworks show for you!

I'll have a few moments to spare, for sure. And since I'm not involved in any HP exchanges, I'm completely impartial. :D But I have to warn you, I'm a rather... rigidly red-wielding beta.

Oooh, I'd love to take you up on that! I should be able to type them in midday my time, and I'll send them to you via email- unless you prefer googledocs? Just let me know. I prefer a rigid beta. I've lost some betas because they're not involved in fandom anymore, but some have insisted they're no longer 'qualified' do a real critique. If you're especially harsh, just warn me. :)

Email is fine, love; I'm not a fan of googledocs. I mean, I'm not exactly involved with HP anymore either... if canon accuracy for volumes 6 and 7 is utterly required, I might not be the best choice. But I'd love to have a go. :D

No, that's fine; both stories are AU in a way in regards to careers and they're both set off when the protagonists are in their 20s or 30s. Yay! I'll look forward to daylight when I can at least start typing them in. Thank you so much!

Just responded to your other insomnia post! Good for you on the fics! Way to use the insomnia for gain.

What are you doing for exercise these days? I'll bet there are a lot of people on your flist who will recommend various things. "I go out and split logs!" Etc.

Exercise… yes, there were regular trips to the gym when I finagled my way into three different trial periods. I am going to see what offer the going LA Fitness has and just commit to going. They have a fabulous sauna in the woman's locker room. Getting regular exercise could hopefully wear me out in a good way and get some tone back.

I'd be happy to beta as well, if you need another set of eyes. I'm not very experienced with Googledocs, so E-mail would be better for me.

I'd love to get your feedback! I need to type them both in, but can hopefully do that before going to work. But I'm running out of time! I'll send them as soon as I have them in digital form.

I'd love to read it when you've got it typed up! Like I said, I feel like calling myself a beta to your work is like the student trying to critique the master, but a new set of eyes is always helpful, yes?

ffff, I'm typing my pinch hit now. Maybe you could take a look at mine when it's done? I didn't ask you on the last one I did because I knew how you were feeling about R/D at the time. D:

A new set of eyes is always welcome! And yes, of course I'd be happy to look at yours. I wasn't anti-R/D, I was just, well, rather peevish about it. As you know. :(
