**happy dance thanks to new yarn**

My yarn arrived today!!!




I'm a bit sad in that I did buy these online and the green for the contrast really doesn't match in the way I'd hoped- green is so hard to tell when you're looking at online pictures. And while the variegated 'grassy knoll's are indeed all one dyelot as I even put in the notes of my order, one of them looks faded, somehow. Trying to decide if it's worth contacting them or if I can just leave that one skein out until last. I may not need it since I'm using another color for the Celtic bands. Now I need to order a made to order zipper!

I love Lamb's Pride wool. And the colorway on that variegated skein is FABULOUS! wow!

Y'know, I've not used this brand before, so I'm glad that you like it so much! The colorway is 'grassy knoll, but you can even see in the picture that the one in the back looks lighter, as though it's been in a window or something. I think I'm going to call and see if I can get it switched out and also get a different green for the contrast band. It's too much of a blue-green and the other is much more olive. :(

Oooo! They're all lovely! The multi-colored one is really gorgeous! I love the other5s, too. Green is my favorite color. Makes me want to take up knitting! (I can't though as my fingers tend to be stiff.)

The grassy knoll multi-colored yarn is truly beautiful. And since the green doesn't really match, I've decided to take a skein of the variegated and go to a local yarn store to find a contrast color I'll love. And maybe I'll knit a hat or a couple out of the green instead! I've tucked away the knowledge that green is your favorite color. ::is gleeful and mischievous::

ROFL!! Before I moved out here I had rather the yarn stash myself, I must admit. I sent out a few 'care packages' of yarn I'd not done anything with to a few friends on my flist, which felt like a good karma thing to do. :)
