A while back, my dear friend kymyrra designed a bumper sticker for me and uploaded it to his own little cafe press shop. He bought one and sent it to me as a surprise gift. To my discredit, it's taken me until now to put it on my car. But yesterday I went through the fancy automatic car wash and then put on the bumper sticker. It's not perfect; I managed one small wrinkle and a couple of air bubbles that hopefully will go away.

But...now all of Portland can see what I'd rather be doing. :D





In other news: I picked a new layout for the rest of summer! And I'm so happy to have a beta for my Silmfic who's giving me great concrit and I think I'll be able to finish it in the next few days, which will then give me the time to start on a new Wraeththu story. And work is pleasant. My life is much more calm, and it's allowing me to get a lot of stuff done. I still owe a couple of you emails and/or LJ entries, and I'll get there.

Today at lunch I was out writing down some plot outline for a novel I'm trying to work on again... when along comes a coworker. I'd told him I write and was all inspired after England and reading an awesome novel. Then it's funny, he's like "Hey, I don't know if you're of this... but apparently people write up alternate storylines, additional storylines, new endings, even whole new stories and stuff, for books and TV shows." I was like "Um, yeah, I -have- heard of that!" LOL

ROFL!! That's classic. Usually I'm the one explaining fanfic ("So, when you see those Star Trek novels, and Gene Roddenberry didn't write all of them..."), not having people wonder if I've heard about such a thing! What a treat! :D

Isn't it tremendous? I did just check cafepress, though, and it looks like he took the site down. It was from a couple of years ago. :cringe: Then again, I could perhaps design another one! But I love mine. He's a dear. ♥

BTW I guess it's my computer, but all I can see of your bumper sticker is "I'd rather be" but I'm taking a wild guess the last word is "writing." ;D

Yes, things are much improved! Feeling much more like myself in regular Thev mode and that means a tremendous amount to me. It does also mean my to-do lists have gotten rather long again. ;)
