Oh my dear friend. And that I know the genesis of fungus_files as a username is something that warms my heart. I've known you since we were sixteen, or I was sixteen, anyway. That year in Australia was one of the most formative I've had in my life, and I'm so glad that despite distance, our changing lives and pursuits, and other factors that could have caused us not to remain friends, we are still friends and confidantes. Happy birthday!! It's quite an eventful year for you with the new bub, and I do hope that I'll be able to come down in October, depending on how my path here continues on, but I remain hopeful.

Thanks, K. Sorry to be so MIA these days. I've been trying to snatch catch-up naps when I can and lunchtimes (when both E. and G. are generally asleep) are the only times I get to sit at a computer for longer than 5 mins! I've had a fun b'day this year and it has been busy + enlightening + I'm mostly OK with being "almost 40"...! ;)

Sorry to hear about your recent dramas/deviations - *more hugs* We'll all still be here. Pls take care of yourself and I think I'd have to agree with snottygrrl about the 'being bounced back to houses with other ppl in them' theory.
