I'm participating in a new R/D challenge this year, and they've made banners to pimp the upcoming voting! There are three categories and in order to vote, you must vote for each story in the category you've selected for your vote to count and to ensure there's no favoritism. However, please don't be intimidated: this is my OTP, Ron/Draco, not Harry/Draco where there would be dozens of stories. Would that there were, though! :P

There are a couple of other folks on my flist also participating in this, and I'm just so excited that there will be at least a few new R/D stories. I'm thrilled that I got to beta a couple, too, and I'll be excited to see readers' comments about them.
I'm writing Silmfic (or trying!) and another Persian Boy story, then there'll be another Richard/Alec and I'll have finished the drabbles/vignettes from a couple of weeks ago. No new news from Storm, so I suspect she's editing M+M now. I'll be finishing up my move on Saturday, so I may be a bit AFK while doing that. But I'm also so very excited in that I see there's a Portland Highland Games coming up in July! A full day of Scottish stuff! I'm so there.
I'm also watching Torchwood. Were it not for the glorious pansexuality of Jack and perhaps Ianto as well (though maybe he identifies as bi, not sure) and the delicious Welsh accents, I probably wouldn't be that into it, but I'm enjoying it as a romp. There are definitely some dangling plot elements, unlike BSG, one of which is really bugging me from season 1 episode 4 when Lisa the cyberwoman is revealed. Hello, Ianto never tells them about the Japanese cybernetics guy, also dead in a gruesome manner, hidden away... He has the blood of two innocents on his hands, and not only that, still another body! Still, I'm enjoying seeing a true pansexual character in a show. It's so liberating.

Oh!
And this is what happens when you leave your Ron & Draco in my far-less-than-capable hands:
Ron/Draco/Adrian is my OT3. :fap fap fap:

Date: 2009-06-02 06:00 pm (UTC)Wikipedia suggests that Jack is omnisexual, pretty close to pan. Close enough to me! It makes me a little swoony.
This picture is hilarious. You're my hero. Are you still writing on that fic?

Date: 2009-06-02 06:14 pm (UTC)It certainly doesn't hurt that John Barrowman is delectable. And gay IRL! :swoons:
Are you still writing on that fic?
I'm still tinkering around with it; at the moment, my R/D set in your CoR universe is kindof consuming me. Not that I'm complaining, though!
Yes, Adrian's hands are quite experienced, I imagine. But the way it's culiminating in my head, he'll be putting *their* hands to work. ;)

Date: 2009-06-02 10:08 pm (UTC)I enjoyed Torchwood, but sadly not as much as most folks seem to. I wonder why that is?

Date: 2009-06-03 01:37 am (UTC)I'm not sure about Torchwood. Plot-wise it's not strong, but the characters are pretty vibrant. I think that's why I'm enjoying it. That and that it's set in Wales and I can hear Welsh accents on a regular basis. I only wish that Jack spoke with a Scottish accent instead of American!
Hope you're feeling better physically. I need to call you soon and get caught up. ((hugs))

Date: 2009-06-03 04:21 am (UTC)Torchwood is fun, and I did love hearing, wtf was the skinny guys name, not Jack and not Ianto, but the other one, talk. But you're right we need some good Scots in there.
Things are going better now, doc told me to take ibuprofen for inflamation. It's helping.

Date: 2009-06-03 04:44 am (UTC)Torchwood took a while to grow on me, and I have to say that Jack's r'ship definitely had something to do with my current embrace of the series. It's a very camp show, and the sooner I took it less seriously, the more I enjoyed it... ;)
