Hello, dear flist! I'm wanting to make a new picture to put on my Wraeththu page to represent Lemuel, the original character son of two other OCs who appear in Swooping to Landward, the most recent Wraeththu story I wrote. Lemuel is the harling of two Colurastes, and has long, wavy black hair — with turquoise tendrils in it, but I wouldn't expect to find a picture of that! In my story he's often wearing nothing but tight snakeskin pants, but I'm not too picky. I'd just like to find a picture of a beautiful man, maybe shirtless, who has quite long, dark hair. I'm looking over at modelhommes, but I don't know any models by name. I'll be looking myself in the meantime, trolling google images, but I suspect many of you, like me, have caches of photos on your harddrives of lovely men. If you have any that fit that description, please post here and/or let me know the name of any of your faves.

Wish I could help! Don't have any that I can think of. I'm always trying to put hair on people with Photoshop, but I lack the skills and the tools to do it right. (Let me know if you end up with any good leftovers.)

Well, one is in the icon I made for Lemuel; if you look at my icon list you'll see one for Kelp, a new Wraeththu OC, and he's also from your collection. I also snagged one of a gorgeous, rather buff guy with long wet hair, a dark-haired guy. I almost used him for Lemuel, but he seemed *too* muscley. The one that freckles42 provided is what ended up on my updated Wraeththu page (http://thrihyrne.net/wraeththu.html). The skinny guy with long hair that I snagged of yours ended up becoming Kelp. He's perfect! You're able to find such lovely creatures. ;)

Sorry love, can't help you out any, but can you send me the link to some of the sights you use to find possible models. I remember when you were here you had a site you were looking at a great deal. I'd love to have some choices for Cedric/Oliver and Gar/Asher. Even if I'm no longer writing them, they still need icon love. LOL.

I only know of two sites, really: There's ModelHommes (http://www.modelhommes.com/), but you'll need to sign up and register for the forums. From there, unless you know someone's name, it's just browsing through models by name. The other that has more artistic photography is Jean-Philippe Guillemain (http://www.aguill.com/pages/accueil.html). That's where I found most of my Wraeththu men. If you look in this post, shygryf also has a link to a site I'd not heard of. That should be enough to get you going! :D
