"Down the Whispering Well," the soundtrack!

Yes, for those of you who are into this, I created a soundtrack of sorts for this novella as well, featuring songs that I either listened to obsessively while writing it and/or songs I felt went along with Vaysh as a character and all I put him through. The megaupload link is here; I don't think they last forever. It's a zip file.




Enjoy! And crazy me, I started writing something else Wraeththu last night, set off in the future and not a gap-filler, though I think I'd also like to write another shorter fic with the characters I've fallen for. There's something about Wraeththu in their earlier, more feral days that really appeals to me. I've had two requests with Ulaume, and one friend has mentioned the Froia, though I may have to write a Seel/Ashmael when Ashmael was having regular frolics with him in Saltrock. There'd be some definite bittersweet there, and some guilt-free rooning.

At any rate, please enjoy the music and let me know if you have any comments or thoughts on the soundtrack, or anything else to do with those two novellas. You all have been so generous in your appreciation of my writing and exploration of the characters… thank you, again!! ♥

Hey! Yes, were it not for you and sharing your musical preferences and the evolution of your soundtracks which shower me with music for months, this wouldn't have existed. I can't go searching for it now, but that post I made about my new job and the 2 red-haired models? This is Danila Polyakov; not Bartek, in my other Vaysh icons, but the other guy. danila_vanilla if you'd like more pics. Isn't he great? Though he recently cut off all of that gorgeous red hair. :(

That Madrugada song owns me; first found it after watching a youtube Bagoas/Alexander video a few dozen times :cough: and had to figure out who sang it.

I haven't had the chance to read the novella yet - I am aching to get started! Sadly, I triggered a "work landmine" (which really did need detonating, as I hate shoddy flakey employees) and I have three kids and renovations underway - my time has been ZAPPED (I'm thinking that might me the reason for the shoulder spasm)

I'm just trying to encourage as much lovely stories as possible :)

I have a Mac, too! You should be able to download it; it's just a zip file and Megaupload is accessible by any browser. Let me know if you still have issues, but you should be able to go to the site, download, and then drop into iTunes. Email me at thevina33 [at] gmail [dot] com if you're still not able to access it, but I'm a Mac user myself. :D

Yesterday my friend and neighbour did the download for me.
Thiede wouldn't do it *grrr*, he always screws the CDs up... Oh, I'm so glad you know what I mean *lol*. If anyone else hears me talking like that they would have to think I'm crazy!
I'll get the soundtrack tomorrow and I'm really curious about the songs :-)
And how do you always dig out these beautiful models for your icons or other piccies?! Probably Thiede hides things like that away from me, too, when I try to surch for such stuff ;-)

The models? Well, it really did take two years of searching and then I saw the model in the icon I found made by erviniae on jaiden_s' LJ, and she's a friend of niennaainur. So it all comes back to Wraeththu! But I've definitely done my share of internet searches. :P Glad to share the red-haired men love.
