thrihyrne: Portland, OR (not innocent by girlsareweird)

Well, just as hotmail expanded their memory, I acquired a gmail account. But I'd already changed my email address at several archives, so I'm going to go ahead and convert over to gmail. Most of you I correspond with individually, so you'll get a separate email from me, but regardless, please change my address in your email address books to thevina33@gmail.com.

Many, many thanks! :D

And not that you need to re-read this, but "A Private Oratory" has been beta'ed by the generous [livejournal.com profile] snottygrrl and I know that the story has improved under her suggestions. It reinforces to me, yet again, just how important it is to have someone else read one's stories. It makes all the difference to have another set of eyes, and another perspective. (though I'm still giving Draco chest hair. Unless the man is shaving, all men I've ever met have *some* chest hair. Color me realistic rather than fangirl. [grin])

Focus for the weekend (aside from having an opera Friday and Saturday): finishing the twinfic (worked on it last night; love the twinses!!) and the latest G/R. And reviewing. I've been so overwhelmed by the fabula rasa story I read that it's hard to come up with a review that's worthy. I wonder: do you, other writers, struggle with writing reviews/fawning 'I loved this story and here's why' when you do submit such to an author? Just curious. Not that I'm a saint or anything- I have read some great stories and not reviewed, but I try not to. Feedback and all. Because we all love feedback, constructive, gushy, or even negative, I suppose.

Must get back to work.

**smooches** to all, yet again, who were so kind about my last checking-in post. RL not so great, but I spoke with my college best friend yesterday and that was incredibly grounding and bolstered my various decisions. Oh! I had a banner mail day two days ago, getting the fabulous/gorgeous CD and letter from [livejournal.com profile] fungus_files (you can expect a really long letter from me before this weekend is over) and one of the sweetest cards I've ever received from [livejournal.com profile] twilights_abode. Thank you both.

Having a good week.
