Yes, for all who love this holiday as I do, and boy do I love to dress up, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Yet another reason why I love my job: today happens to be our all-library staff Dean's Coffee over at the main library. They're having a costume contest. I'm in my Éowyn gown, which I can never seem to actually put under an lj-cut, but perhaps I'll try again. I'd better win something. :P But mostly, I love wearing this dress, as it is quite dreamy and I feel like Éowyn, that I'm intelligent and caring and private and can kick ass and I'm a force to be reckoned with. Plus I just look really good in green velvet.

At any rate, here's a link to the website where I found all kinds of help when I was researching this dress, and it has some pics of me in it. If pictures are taken today, I'll post them; now that I live alone, it's a bit hard to get pictures of myself.

lj is being weird! When I do the hover-thing, it still says 'add friend', but then when I click on the big link, it goes to 'modify friend'.

Dresses that are regal and comfy are so great. I've got one kinda like that in ivory stretch velvet that I got for half price from hot topic a few years ago that I love. It's a bit long, sadly, but s'okay. [and the hemline is awfully complicated to mod it.] Heels seem to be the way to go. And/or scrunching it up at the waist, and/or loaning it to tall friends. ;P
