My pairing was Bill/Severus, and hard R, not gratuitous.
Bill doesn't strut into Potions.
He doesn't sidle, stride, or anything else pretentious. He simply walks in, just as he did the year before, though the weight of the Potions Master's gaze extracts a heavier toll than Bill remembers from the previous spring. He's gratefully pleased.
He hadn't polished the Head Boy's badge, although he'd held the cloth above it dozens of times during the sweltering summer at the Burrow. In his mind's eye, Snape's glaring, cauldron-deep judgment on the slight tarnish was enough to leave it. Unblemished, the Professor would have passed it over.
Proven correct, Bill winks.
Discreetly.

Bill's robes pooled around his ankles. He was drenched in black; buggered, inlaid and sheltered by it like the moon laid bare under the unforgiving expanse of the universe.
Severus claimed him and Bill wrenched his body against his desk, paying the price he'd hoped to pay. There had been little preamble; Bill knew what he'd wanted, Severus had obviously intuited the same. Musk and sandalwood filled Bill's senses as they wafted from his posterior to his nose.
"Polish. Your. Badge," Bill heard, and with those three words, his hopes dissipated into the ancient woodwork.

This image is so VERY hot. *fans self*
Many thanks!! It's a pairing I find interesting, especially when they're both so young, but I doubt I'd have written it unless we'd been drawing names out of the container like that. Thank you for reading!!
