Well, I've changed my color scheme and have a few fun new avatars, though one didn't seem to make it. Boy do I love switching from Mac programs to PC and back. *grumble, grumble* I had Grand Plans of putting a gorgeous photo of Miranda Otto for the background, and I got the picture there, but it was smack dab in the middle of the page. Just a bit more analysis pilfering of
edeainfj's coding and I'll get it the way I want it, but not this morning.
I tried to put the new windshield wiper blades on my car this morning in the cold and drizzle, but couldn't get them to fit. I'm not an idiot, but when it comes to my car, I'm great at checking the oil, but windshield wipers and putting air in my tires just make me miserable. Mr. Thev said he'd help, but I hate being dependent on him, so this morning after he left I thought, "What would I do if I were single?" So I called AutoZone where I bought the blades, and sure enough, they'll put them on for you. So I'll do that at lunch.
[editor's note: windshield wiper blades are on and ready for rain.]
Oh, and my friend just sent me this Sirius Black t-shirt link. *g*

Date: 2004-02-12 05:59 pm (UTC)And... is that Gary Oldman playing the part of Sirius Black? Whoa, that messes with my head a little bit. Movie/book/ignorance clashing. I don't know how you guys ever survived reading LotR after seeing the movie.
... so who is Remus? Gah. I don't know anything, except that Jason was Lucius, and the kids, of course. And that Richard Harris died. I'm such a galoot. I really just need to read the books.
:-S

Me, I prefer the innuendo, since, really, in the books Remus and Sirius are more secondary than primary characters. But they are also adults. Maybe even my age. :)

Date: 2004-02-13 12:36 am (UTC)have an excellent time over the w'end! I'll be spending my Valentine's day afternoon sitting at a conference with a bunch of politicians jaw-flappin' at me...SIGH. *note to self - get more exciting life*

You mean, less exciting than having to pick up and move in a couple of months??

Me too. I actually don't think that llembas and I shall make *squee*ing noises, but it should be great fun to meet her in person. I do miss you, and Juss- I did get that letter written to her, so I feel slightly less of a slacker. I think I'll make a real attempt to get back to you all at least once every two years; it's really not that far...
