thrihyrne: Portland, OR (the loner's manifesto)
[personal profile] thrihyrne
Dearie, I can't even find the thread on your or my LJ (though I think it's hiding sneakily on yours somewhere), but I know that you requested Lavender/Parvati femslash as part of my gift!fic offerings back in October. I've had a rather angsty idea for this from the get-go, and it all came together tonight. If nothing else, I hope this is cathartic. It's slightly multi-media, so I'm linking it directly to my website.

Happy, um, end of January?

Ohhh, thevina, you really take my breath away! guh... This was so beautiful, and really bittersweet. It makes me love Lavender/Parvati, and my heart is right there with them. ♥Thank you thank you thank you!!♥ You rule me! The letter of poetry was such an excellent touch. Just lovely.

May I pimp please?!

But, of course. :)

There's a niggling sentence that I may rework tomorrow, but this story is yours. I had fun going through your LJ in search of the elusive post, and it was so great to see your pics from TWH again. I hope we're both presenters/roundtable discussion leaders at Lumos. Even if not, I'm looking forward to seeing you again. I should knit you something. :D :D

I would be so thrilled if we were both presenters! We'd have to do a little celebration dance if so; we went full circle from some pretty intense fan love conversations on the bus, to getting down to business! Go us.

Thank you again for the story! I just love it. I'm pimping as we speak...

Knit me something?! asdlqaksj - yay!

Must be a combination of multiple lives; there appears to be a lot of angst living in my mind and soul. Glad that you enjoyed it. The femslash aspect was quite tame, must say, but I wanted it to be more emotionally oriented.

*thinks about clove cigarettes and licks lips*

Why do I suspect that Lavender acquired that habit from Parvati?

Lovely angsty little fic, there.

Sorry about that; I almost smoked last night, just writing the story. Didn't mean to be enabling at all. But I may end up having a cigarette this afternoon. :P

Thank you for reading!

Oh, don't worry about it. I haven't actually smoked in nine years... but I dream about doing so regularly, so realistically that sometimes when I wake up I think I've actually done it. I started out smoking clove cigs and didn't switch to ordinary ones for about 6 months. Tasty. Damn.

See, I knew you'd given up smoking years ago, and that's why I felt guilty. I do still find it both fascinating and ironic that I can smoke on occasion and smoked 'seriously' for 3 months, but it still just doesn't chemically jive enough with me for it to be a lifelong thing.

Humans. We're odd.

Well, I had the easiest time quitting of anyone I've ever known, strangely. I tapered down for a month or two and then just stopped. While I was preparing for my M.A. orals, no less. Definitely odd. Especially since I had substantial prenatal exposure.

And I doubt I'll ever take up smoking again. Certainly not as long as SO and I are together!
