CD burner alternative to iTunes
Aug. 13th, 2005 09:25 amYes, I'm back for help: the CD burner for the Mac laptop that I use won't burn anything. I've made a new mixed CD through iTunes and tried to burn it on my stepdad's, but it said that some of the tracks weren't authorized. Now, it won't tell me *which* ones, and I did burn the actual mp3 files to a CD, but neither iTunes nor my portable CD player recognize it as a CD. So I'm looking for a free (or shareware that I can use for a week or two) alternative that will let me burn an audio CD and circumvent iTunes, which is making me cranky.
Suggestions?
Many thanks.
Oh, and I'm working on fic and need to be reading and reviewing like nobody's business.

TONS of programs to choose from. I recommend Coaster, which is freeware (and direct-to-disk).

Date: 2005-08-13 10:27 pm (UTC)You should be able to authorize your stepdad's computer to play these tracks by following the instructions here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93014
I hope this helps. :)
