Thank you! I'm quite pleased with how the sweater turned out- and it's 100% cotton (not a fiber I knit with very often) so technically machine washable! Though I'll probably hand wash anyway.
Didn't get to the ballet because I was still feeling unwell, which has now gone from a sore throat to some sinusy stuff. :P Hoping to make this stuff go away!! Glad to hear of your work news! It must feel good to be so appreciated and also fiscally compensated for your skills and talents. :)
