Yes, getting their 'voice' can be a bit tricky because I suspect they are more effusive with each other than with other races, and Gimli especially, and Gimli *most* especially post-WR. It's great fun! I now have to go and review what they did with Thorin Oakenshield after he died so I can keep going in my story. :)
