Yay! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this little bit of character exploration. Your explanation of the extremes of Seel's personality, especially at this time of life, as sour bitchiness and a realistic fascination with what makes the world work is so right! Obviously he's a character you've given a lot of thought to. Would love to see your take on some Seel/Ashmael. Canonically apparently they take aruna and are buddies for about five years or more, though Ashmael does go off 'on campaign' over in Galhea for months at a time.
