I miss elfscribe5 already. Want to commiserate with her about the Lord John books, about her Numenor fic, about M+M, etc. That said, I want to thank all of you for being along with me on my path. garsher_03, you and I will have to talk Lord John once you're in a position to do so! And heartofoshun, I can't thank you enough for beta'ing M+M. And the new friends on my flist, and those who've been with me for years… just thank you. Fandom and writing has allowed me to cross paths with some of the most attentive, thoughtful, inspiring and generous people I've ever met.

How sweet! <3 The feeling is more than mutual!! I can't imagine what I would have done had you not liked my first fic and taken me under your wing. Your encouragement, beta and help have meant everything to me. I have a long way to go to be an accomplished writer, but you've helped me SO much on that road. It's a privilege and a joy to have gotten to know you!

Oh, I quite agree T. There's a hole in my universe without elfscribe5 around. I mean, I know she's out there and will keep in touch, but I already miss my friend.

FWIW, she sent me the Lord John books for my recent birthday and I scarfed up "Private Matter" pretty quickly. I'm just beginning "Brotherhood" now. I'm quite sure I couldn't offer nearly as erudite discussions as Elfscribe, but I'm happy to discuss/squee whatever along with you. I can't believe I went so long without finding them - though kenazfiction's last year's Yuletide request should have been a clue.

I'm also getting back to the "Slavebreakers" universe. So much to read and so little time. I'm addicted to m/m ebooks also.

So, talk, squee, discuss away. I'll be happy to join in with meager contributions now and again.

hi hon! I miss you too. I'm right now sitting in my car in a parking lot outside the lodge which is the one place I have wireless access up here. The training has been very physically rigorous and I've been crashing every night - no time for writing or anything. I'm so glad you've enjoyed Brotherhood of the Blade and really wish we could chat about it. *sigh* I'm glad Oshun was able to beta M&M and just sorry I wasn't around to help you. I'd like to read the new and improved version.

Anyway, I'll try to stay in touch when I can.
