Hard to believe that it's nearly four years ago when you wrote to me, having read one of the stories in Magic Immunity, letting me know that you knew what the word 'covite' meant and that you, too, had attended my alma mater. I'm privileged to consider you a friend, and am so thrilled that I was able to stay with you and your family in Brum last October.
