I am so grateful that you and I have been fandom friends for so long, from Tolkien and your long Elf-centric story I initially reviewed and then got to know you afterwards, through Harry Potter and Narnia and Swordspoint. You inspire me with your busy academic life and vast outpouring of well-written stories, not to mention all of the cooking that you do! I think you must have snuck in a few extra hours in there, somewhere… ;)
I hope you have a very happy birthday. It is a privilege to know you and to have been able to visit with you twice now in real life. May you be celebrated and lauded all through the day and week!! And if you'd like a short vignette (I should be able to get it to you before the weekend's over), please pick any of the fandoms I write in and a pairing or plot suggestion and I'd love to write you a little something.
