You're a braver woman than I am - I don't think I could kill of a character as ruthlessly as that ;-) I do think that the semi-invulnerability of hara is a bit of nuisance when it comes to plot development sometimes. The odd life-threatening illness would perk up many a fic!
I get the impression that Phade wouldn't know what to do if Vaysh did respond to his advances! It's quite funny the way he doesn't seem discouraged by Vaysh's total indifference though, and I think you develop that quite well. I don't think Vaysh particularly dislikes him - he just considers him an irrelevant annoyance, easily dealt with by a withering look or a strategic hand-gun ;-)
The new Forever is wonderful! I somehow had the idea in my head that there wasn't really very much in the way of Wraeththu fanfic, but there's actually a fair old amount of it, and lots of additional stuff from the old site. And new stuff being added too, which is also good!
Thiede often gets portrayed as a sort of moustache-twirling stereotypical villain, but he's much more complicated than that. And Vaysh's relationship with him is complicated too - its not a case of Vaysh waving his fist and going "Curse you, Thiede", so I'm pleased to see you bringing that aspect out. Also always pleased to see Velaxis being prominent! ;-) (I'm torn between wanted a third trilogy or not in case he isn't in it and I'm crushed by the disappointment!)
