Seel earns his voodoo doll all by himself!: Exhibit one, his bring-me-a-sammich-bitch treatment of Flick, exhibit two, he tries to kill Pell...wait, no... he tries to kill Pell and fails, and exhibit three, his mega-flounce when Flick shows up with Ulaume in "Wraiths". Also, he succumbed pretty easily to Thiede's bribery of letting him have a go at Cal.
(I have an entirely unsupported theory that Seel is based on some miscreant ex of SC, because she drools all over him in "Enchantments" and "Bewitchments", but by the second series his character has been assasinated with quite ruthless professionalism ;-) /theory)
