Cal ... hm, I wouldn't that say he's larger than life. I'd say that he embodies an aspect of life: Change, whether that change be bad or good. His character is made up of archetypes -- the Fool and the Cosmic Traveller -- and his more human quirks like his cynical attitude. He's like a humanized archetype brought to life. To me, Cal embodies potential. XD
Galdra seemed to me a little too perfect to sympathize with. XD idk. I am with you about Flick/Ulaume though. Wish there'd been scenes with them. :/ I wonder if they're still living at Pell's old house. The recover of Aleeme, I'd like to read that.
