Haven't done one of these in yonks. So! My boring life. ;)

I AM: feeling rather accomplished.
I WANT: for my lower back to stop hurting.
I HAVE: an insanely busy mind. But I'm used to it, and really am grateful for it.
I WISH: I could have an honest conversation with my parents.
I HATE: bigotry.
I MISS: living life more honestly.
I FEAR: for my own integrity, at times.
I WONDER: if I'll actually get gorgeously creative holiday cards made this year.
I REGRET: having given my heart to someone who really didn't deserve it.
I LOVE: intensely, but perhaps too selectively.
I AM NOT: naturally forthright.
I DANCE: very, very well.
I SING: less often than I wish.
I CRY: on the inside a lot more than on the outside. (stolen verbatim from Mrs. Q)
I WRITE: um, obsessively.
I NEED: to reconcile my inner self with my outer and stop apologizing for who and what I am.
I SHOULD: stop navel-gazing.

I SHOULD: stop navel-gazing.

nah. i don't see the problem with it, really. a lot of people i know could do with being a little more self aware!

*hugs*

i wasn't sure if it would irritate you to be tagged.

 I'm better on paper. ;)

Not at all irritated to be tagged! Sometimes I don't notice, but I was glad to see yours and to participate. I do love that Roan Inish icon. I should make another one with the seals, or if I could find one of her on the boat, with the name tag attached to her jumper, poor thing...

That was a nice read. Thanks for sharing.

Do you have a back injury? Or is it related to office job/sitting? Just wondering if chiropractic care might help? An adjustment can be as cheap as $25-$30 and can make a world of difference.

It's the predominance of totally non-ergonomic chairs in my world, and a tendency to spend way too much time in front of the computer. I've never been to a chiropractor. Last year my back was doing something similar and my doctor gave me some stretches to do; if I can remember them I'll start up again. Thank you for the suggestion!!

Stretching is a beautiful thing!

For lower back especially--I gently pull my knees to my chest every morning before getting out of bed [or after going to the bathroom if need be]. It helps SO much.

& Yeah, chiropracty is lovely as well. ;D

What would you tell your parents if you could be honest with them? (If you feel comfortable answering)

♥ so much love for Scissor Sisters, and that song in particular. ;D

Hey, even if better on paper--you're still glorious. ;D

That's a great idea of stretching out my lower back before I'm out of bed, before the weight of the day makes me 1/4 inch shorter or whatever it is after a day of standing up. Or being up, anyway; part of my problem is spending all day in a not-very-ergonomic chair. :sigh:

I have a few things I'd let them know, but I won't post it here. :) I'll let you know in a future letter, perhaps. Mostly about just saying that there are some elements to me that will only change if I want them to, and I don't think I will ever want them to change, and from here on out I'm going to be accepted on those terms... or not accepted. But it's part of who I am. (none of this has to do with orientation or sexuality or anything exciting like that, it's key elements of my personality which I've gotten serious grief about before)

You're glorious, my inspiration for being real in the moment to moment!!! ♥
