I came onto LJ because I knew everyone would be all a-twitter over HP7 and I wanted to see what was being said. So sheer nosiness.
And of course you're more critical; you've delved into these characters, made them your own and beta'd how many stories? I just try to remember that HP is a children's book.
And anyway, like JKR cares anymore, anyway. She's made a killing.
