'You'd tell me, wouldn't you?'

Before I have a small rant about how part of my day was sucky yesterday (interviews in Tigard, as a preview), I must share an absolutely wonderful moment that happened this morning. Due primarily to yesterday's events, I had an unplanned sleepover with evannichols. As we pulled out of the driveway and started up the street, he held my hand, gave me a quick but searching look and asked, quite sincerely, "If you were a robot from the future sent back here to teach me to love again, you'd tell me, wouldn't you?"

I do believe that's the most romantic moment I've ever had.

If I am a robot from the future, I've been really well programmed, because I have no future memories. I'm sure there's a really cool word for that, but it escapes me right this minute. :)
