[livejournal.com profile] stuckinsea became known to me when I discovered she really enjoyed my Ron/Draco stories, "Magic Immunity" in particular at the time. Over the past couple of years, however, she has become a true friend, someone with whom I share correspondence about all aspects of life, the pleasant and the not-so.

Dear Hannah, I hope that you have a wonderful, low-key, delicious food-filled birthday. I have a preview of fic to post for you and anyone else interested in the last installment of Magic Immunity, but it's on my *^%@$# flash drive which I left at work yesterday. I'll post it later on today.

You're such a dear, who has supported me through rough times but has also given me all kinds of confidence in my writing when I desperately needed it. I'm so glad that you're a part of my life.

::MWAH!!!::

you.

I'm fascinated.

Okay, quick interlude. I'm unduly excited because I got a package from Snapfish which has the 4 Christmas pressies I designed for some of my favorite people, and they turned out very well, and I'm so very, very excited! Add to that a box of Aussie chocolate goodies and Norsca from [livejournal.com profile] fungus_files that arrived yesterday, and I'm totally, totally spoiled. ::is giddy::

Back to R/D. I wrote Crown of Rope last fall, in which Draco fled to Japan right after the War. Another friend is writing a fabulous R/D in which Ron has spent time in China. I'm inordinately pleased to see that there's a R/D at merry smutmas, at long last, posted today. In it, Draco ran to Korea after the war.

Are we few sailors on the Ron/Draco ship all sharing a brain or something? I'm really quite intrigued by this.
