Rosetta Stone Day!
Aug. 31st, 2007 09:11 pmYes, Thursday was Rosetta Stone Day. Goodness knows for how few days this article will actually be archived at our little city paper's online section, but there's an article here about it. There was a big party with tents and food and music and all sorts of good stuff Thursday, but seeing as how I'm in customer care, and needed on the phones, I only went down to visit for about 7 minutes. Still— cool for this company, internationally known, with new branding (which I think is really great), a new version of our top 10 languages, and I'm glad to be a part of it during this exciting transition. I'm even in a picture in a booklet everyone was given and will be given to prospective and new employees, and Merlin only knows who else. :)
Still... over the past two weeks I've worked 93 hours, and I volunteered to work half a day on Monday. Couldn't turn down the time and a half on top of the vacation pay. :headdesk:
This weekend's plans: writing, reading, and cocooning in my third floor space. I need to get caught up on sleep, too.
