thrihyrne: Portland, OR (redheads)
I think I have only just now realized what "MWAH" is supposed to be. It's representing a kind of full-lipped, showy kiss with a 'mwah' smacking sound at the end? Maybe?? This is where my smaller sliver of dorkdom comes in (I'm primarily geek, not dork), because all this time, I've been thinking 'mwah' represented a kind of barked laugh, and wondering why I was getting that from a couple of friends, as it didn't make a lot of sense.

::facepalm::

Oh, and in other usual Thev Random, last night after the cat woke both my mother and I up at 3 a.m. needing to go out (he's practically deaf and I suspect his meowing reaches the Underworld), I dreamed of doing a recording in which I was singing in a duet in Britten's Ceremony of Carols which segued into being with some guy out at a cabin that was also somehow a duplex and apparently I and/or family had been living there for years and he and I walked out in the woods and he dug out a plant/flower-type thing, the kind you toss out when it's died and the roots are still in the shape of the pot that held them, you know what I mean? :P My subconscious. More convoluted than anything David Lynch could come up with. :sigh:

In other random, it's not even 60°. This has been the most gratifyingly overcast, chilly spring I could ever want. Obviously I need to move a bit further north and in a place with grey skies as soon as I'm able.

Off to write more on the Fred/Seamus/Dean. Think I'll be needing to make an icon for that, too, as I don't think there's exactly a huge community for them. ;)

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] lena3. As RL has been, let's say, challenging, and I've been rather negative about a great many things, doing this was a liberating exercise.

1. purple
2. grey skies and low wind
3. my tattoo
4. Diet Coke
5. "My friends are my estate." Couldn't have said it better. (quote from Ms. Dickinson)
6. writing
7. hearing Wolfie's voice when I tune into EdgeRadio
8. my passport
9. Celtic music
10. blue fingernail polish
11. kilts, and men in them
12. writing a long letter to a friend
13. sliding into bed
14. my coworkers looking genuinely glad that I've come into work
15. thistles

Feel free to post and include yours! Oh, and if anybody knows people in Scotland or Nova Scotia or somewhere with a similar climate (and the accent part is lovely, too, especially Scotland proper), I'm determined to move to a climate I actually want to live in, but being an American means job stuff could be troublesome. I can't go until next year at some point, but I like to plan ahead… < / idle fanciful thoughts>
