Well, I didn't place first in anything writing-wise, but I did make a few appearances! Considering how little Ardaverse-fic I wrote last year, I'm thrilled to be in this at all. Oooh, and this means that I'll get to use some of the award banners I made! How funny; I think they're all ones that I made. Granted, I did have a focus on Dwarves, but still, the third-place cross-cultural I made, too. And I made a major typo in the 3rd place for Dwarves. Augh. Of the many banners I made, I think this one may be my fave:

Congratulations to so very many people, especially [livejournal.com profile] annmarwalk. ((hugs))

thrihyrne: Portland, OR (Ron- never enough)
Others have done this, so I'm playing along. Each month will have the first line of the first fic I published that month. Please heed the warnings if you're not into my fandom stuff. Many of the fics are flocked; if you can't read them and want to, email me. They're mostly adult, and all seem to be HP-fandom.

January— oddly enough, no fic posted. I'd done a bunch in December.

February— Wash Me Throughly, the true Ron/Remus version. Ron flew fast and free, mouth open as though to taste the tang of autumn suffused in the air.

March— More Deeply Marked Than Love (N'oubliez pas Harry). Ron/Draco, third in my Magic Immunity series. Vibrant ribbons of clouds slashed the otherwise dreary winter sky.

April— chapter 3 or 4 (I'm too lazy to look it up) of Fling Wide the Whirlwind. vampire!Ron/eventually vampire!Harry. At the sound of the exam room door opening, Ron looked up from his Quidditch magazine.

May— All That I'm Good for is You. Ron/Draco, set within my Magic Immunity universe. Ron sank into the chair in the lounge, blowing gently on his tea and trying to keep his eyes open.

June— With and Without You. Ron/Harry, though it's Ron wanking solo. Indian takeout in hand, Ron plunked down on the sofa.

.:~:. I'm noticing that Ron features prominently in my first sentences, lol. .:~:.

July— Tripping the Light Plaidtastic. George/Remus, but set within my Magic Immunity universe, set at Ron and Draco's handfasting. Grey, heavy clouds scudded slowly across the sky, herded by the chill breeze.

August— The Gates of Great Darkness. Ron/Draco. DARK. CHARACTER DEATH. NO HAPPY ENDING. At the moment Ron crossed the diaphanous border from unknowing into consciousness, he immediately wished he hadn't.

September— A Trail of Persimmon. Harry/Ron. Harry had nearly finished reading the Daily Prophet from cover to cover and had drunk two pots of post-lunch tea when Ron came crashing out of the fireplace.

I swear, Ron is just... the man. lol.

October— A Bill/Severus double drabble. Bill doesn't strut into Potions.

November— none posted, because I was participating in [livejournal.com profile] merry_smutmas and [livejournal.com profile] bestmates_xmas and can't tell you what I wrote. But I did write drabbles, hmmm. In the Parlour. Ron/Draco. Ron handed over his piece of paper with the Siberian Snegbog.

December— see November; did write some drabbles: The Pain of Partnership. Harry/Ron. Ron and Harry tread gingerly along the peripheral Preserve path, Ron occasionally placing his hand on the tall fence to steady them.

Whew. Ron obviously looms large in my writing psyche. *g*
