Crushes

I chanced upon a meme of sorts over in the HP LJ fandom area where people could post, anonymously or otherwise, crushes that they had on other LJ folks.

Well, I have one for licia_north. She is clever to the point of precocious, generous, and I've just read her story Seabird, an original WIP, which has taken my breath away.

I bequeath to you this one sentence, only one jewel in a veritable treasure trove of prose:

"Always he sits like this, with a timeless and patient look in his eyes, as if he were watching the sea grow from infancy."
