Fleshdress posted two fics recently, both excellent, but the one I was referring to, should you look at it, was the remix one with Remus/James, Remus/Bill.
I haven't read Lotr fic in years so I'm not sure I'd do it now, but if you have a link to From the Other Riverbank to pass on, I'd love to save it just in case I get a hankering. I remember that feeling of provocativeness with those two. The first time I wrote them, I thought I was really deliciously wicked. I never got past a drabble, though I had more planned, but I didn't write much FPS. And I was living in the West Bank at the time with sporadic internet and then I ran away to Europe, and that was the end of that fic. God, that seems so long ago, even though it was only four years. All fic has a window, and you can't go back. Like love, I suppose.
