Thank you so much for your comments!! I'd really hoped for something more evocative of your style, and while I do like very much of it, including the overarching tone, it still feels heavier than I'd hope. I just don't do spare very well. I love that it made you think of Faramir/Boromir; I began reading "From the Other Riverbank" by Dwimordene because of her provocative (so it seemed to me at the time! "Incest? Those two??") title, and fell in love with it. So thank you. In some ways Ron/Harry is kindof like writing incest, as they seem so brotherly. How I'd never thought of that until now is beyond me. :facepalm:

I'll have to look at the story by fleshdress. I'll be interested to read it with your comments in mind.
