Y'know, I was actually thinking of what would be a 'Victorian' way to say something really intimate without being vulgar- so it came out as the Rohirric equivalent of a Victorian (I think; not a scholar of the time, this comes from movies) saying "I wish I were the glove upon your hand." That kind of thing.
