Returning home this afternoon

I've had a wonderful, albeit too short visit with my college roomie from my junior year. She has her own townhouse complete with a small black cat named Sasha who is quite vocal! We've eaten out, talked loads, and walked around Williamsburg. I've not done anything touristy there in years and it was great. There were at least 3 fife and drum bands to listen to. She left early as she's an Episcopalian priest and preaching today (hence why I came this weekend) and I'm about to go now and go to her church for the 9 o'clock service. Then I'll be going home and probably resting and/or going to Pilates. It was pretty hot and I didn't sleep well. :(

Hope you all have had a pleasant weekend! Once at home I'll try to catch up a little bit. ♥

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time! I was there in July once and it was over 100 degrees every day!

I'm still hoping to be able to hop on a train and come up your way to visit with you at your house as well! It was great to visit with her and hear her preach this morning. Her congregation is lucky to have her.

oh, how i would love for you to come and see the house! i'm actually enjoying gardening this year, of all things! you know you have a standing invitation to come and stay for however long you would like.

i do want to get down to visit L. as well. her congregation looks just ideal -- i know she really wanted placement there, and was so pleased that they loved her as much as she loved them!

It was! Lots of downtime, which we both needed. But the longish walk around Williamsburg on Saturday was perfectly timed.
